John C. Priesing

John C. Priesing is an American raised on the east coast of the USA.  He has been a teacher at Fujian Normal University since 2009.  After graduating from The College of New Jersey with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry, John began a career in environmental remediation chemistry which he quickly found did not satisfy his taste for travel.  Since becoming an English teacher, John has worked at two universities in South Korea, Dongeu University in Pusan, and Inje University in Kimhae where he met his wife, Park Ji Hyun.  John became interested in Chinese culture through his long time involvement in martial arts which led to the decision to move to Fuzhou.
